Worth knowing

Dealer, private sale, or listing site?

Three routes, and the right one genuinely depends on your situation. Here is how they actually compare.

If your machine is a clean, in-demand example and you have the patience for it, a private sale will usually net you more. We would rather tell you that than talk you out of it — the riders who send us their friends are generally the ones we were straight with.

Selling a superbike in Delhi

How do I sell my superbike in Delhi?

Send us the bike's year, model, kilometres and registering state, along with a few clear photos — the valuation form on this page captures all of it. We come back with a real figure, usually the same day. If it works for you, bring the bike to our Taimoor Nagar showroom in New Friends Colony for a physical inspection, and we settle payment and paperwork on handover.

Who buys used superbikes in Delhi?

All About Bikes buys pre-owned superbikes outright across Delhi NCR, including Gurgaon, Noida and Faridabad. We buy Kawasaki, Harley-Davidson, Suzuki, Triumph, Honda, BMW, Benelli, Aprilia and Royal Enfield among others. We buy to resell, so we are interested in machines we would be happy to put on our own floor.

Will I get more selling to a dealer or privately?

Privately, usually yes — on the headline number. A private sale can be worth more if you have the time to field enquiries, host test rides on a machine that is still yours and still insured to you, and chase the buyer through RC transfer afterwards. Selling to us is faster, certain and paid on handover, and the paperwork stops being your problem. If your bike is one that will sell easily privately and you are not in a hurry, we will tell you that.

How long does it take to sell a bike to All About Bikes?

Most sales close within a week of the first message, and it can be same-day if you bring the bike in and the paperwork is in order. The valuation itself is usually back with you within a few hours.

When do I get paid?

On handover, once the inspection is done and the paperwork is signed. No staged payouts, and no waiting on a third-party buyer to make up their mind.

What documents do I need to sell my bike?

The original RC, a valid insurance certificate, the PUC certificate, your ID and address proof, and Forms 29 and 30 signed for the transfer. If the bike was financed, you also need the NOC from the lender and Form 35. Missing something? Tell us — most gaps are recoverable and we will walk you through it.

Do you buy bikes registered outside Delhi?

Yes. A UP, Haryana or other state registration is not a problem. It needs an NOC from the registering RTO before re-registration, which we handle. It does add time to the process, so it is worth telling us the state up front.

Do you buy modified or accident-damaged superbikes?

Yes to both, and we would rather hear about it from you than find it on inspection. Heavy modification narrows the resale pool and structural damage affects the number materially, so both change what we can offer — but they rarely make a bike unsellable. Disclosure up front reads far better than discovery on the day.
