Kawasaki motorcycles in Delhi

The most common superbike marque on Delhi roads, and the one we see most of on the used market — which makes it the easiest to buy well and the easiest to overpay for.

Why Kawasaki holds up in Delhi

Kawasaki has the deepest presence of any performance marque in the Delhi used market, and that works in a buyer's favour in two ways. Parts are easier to source than for most European machines, and the volume of examples in circulation means you are rarely forced into the first one you see. If a Z900 comes up with no service history, another will be along shortly. That is a luxury you do not get with a Benelli or an Aprilia here.

What to check on a used example

The Ninja and Z families are robust, and most problems we find are neglect rather than design. Check the chain and sprockets carefully — they are frequently run past their life on these bikes, and a worn set takes the rear sprocket and sometimes the output shaft with it. On the litre-class machines, ask specifically about valve clearance checks: the interval is long enough that owners skip it, and it is expensive to correct once it has gone unaddressed. Look at coolant condition and radiator fins on anything that has spent its life in city traffic, because sustained heat in summer gridlock is the hardest thing these engines do here.

Which models hold value

Stock examples of the mid-capacity machines hold value best — the Ninja 650, Z900 and the smaller Ninjas move quickly because they suit real Delhi riding and the buyer pool is wide. The supersport machines are more polarised: a clean, unmodified ZX-10R finds its buyer, but a heavily modified one narrows the market sharply and rarely returns what was spent on it. Across the range, originality is worth more than someone else's build.

Living with one here

Heat management matters more in Delhi than the spec sheet implies. Summer traffic means long stationary periods at high engine temperature, which is exactly the condition these engines like least. It is not a reliability problem on a well-maintained bike, but it does mean the cooling system is the first thing worth inspecting on a used example, and it makes a mid-capacity machine a more comfortable daily proposition than a track-focused litre bike for most riders.

Buying a used Kawasaki in Delhi

Where can I buy a used Kawasaki in Delhi?

All About Bikes stocks pre-owned Kawasaki motorcycles at our showroom in Taimoor Nagar, New Friends Colony, South Delhi. We currently have 10 Kawasaki machines available. Tell us what you are looking for and we will call you when the right one arrives.

Do you inspect used Kawasaki motorcycles before selling them?

Yes. Every machine goes through a documented multi-point inspection before it reaches the floor, and we report condition honestly — including marks, stone chips and any past repair work. You are welcome to bring your own mechanic before you decide.

Will you buy my Kawasaki?

Yes, we buy pre-owned Kawasaki motorcycles outright across Delhi NCR, and we also take them in part exchange. Send us the year, kilometres, registering state and a few photos for a valuation.

Can you handle the RC transfer on a used Kawasaki?

Yes. RC transfer, NOC where the bike is registered outside Delhi, and insurance transfer are all handled by us end to end, so nothing stays in the previous owner's name.
